Sure, you want them to buy into it. But IMO we've heard enough crap. They're the minority, and they'd better get used to it. If it takes a lot of jail sentences or worse to get the point across, c'est la vie.
Somewhere I read where an Iraqi said something like we were making distinctions that Iraqis themselves did not make. Just how different are the Shias and Sunnis? Are we talking, say, Methodists v. Lutherans? Baptists v. Episcopals? Pentecostals vs. atheists?
